OIG is excited to announce our partnership with Prometheus. Prometheus is an epic NFT-integrated strategic RPG adventure game which will unite gamers, collectors, and anime/fantasy lovers alike. In the quickly evolving and ever expanding metaverse, it can be challenging to determine the quality games and projects from the masses. Prometheus’ Grand Vision:
As mentioned above, Prometheus is epic! It is an NFT-integrated strategic adventure game with interesting elements for almost any kind of gamer or crypto enthusiast. The game setting is in an ancient era where mythological systems from both the East and the West are thriving and colliding! Gods such as Zeus, Odin, Atum and Amaterasu have evolved into even greater deities and granted special powers to ordinary people. This unhinged power resulted in the catastrophic and near total destruction of the planet. To rectify this devastation, the gods implemented a treaty whereby all conflicts must be resolved in a fair, Promethean war: thus, presenting Prometheus! Prometheus is a combination of war chess and card play with various different gaming phases and modes!
Prometheus’ Game Phases and Modes:
Prometheus has two different game phases. In the first phase, players will do pre-war planning which consists of selecting combat units based on the level’s criteria. Combat cards will be selected and then battle begins/the second game phase begins. Strategic planning is the second phase and is extremely important to the success of players. Once battles start, players must outwit their competitors and make strategic decisions based on the battle play. Different battle modes are:
PVP — these battles vary from modes such as daily arena and guide battles, to significant events.
PVE — these battles are between players and non-player characters and can take place in daily gameplay battles.
Both types of battle modes are 5 vs 5!
A special feature of the gameplay is that at times, players will be given upgrade cards which enable them to use multiple cards to unlock secret abilities and create more powerful cards of higher levels. Prometheus’ battle winners are awarded in-game tokens WP, (Wish Power) and this token drives the play-to-earn sector of their ecosystem!
Prometheus’ Tokens:
Prometheus has two tokens, WP and MGA (MetaGame Arena). These two tokens serve different purposes in the Prometheus ecosystem. WP tokens are rewards earned through gameplay. MGA tokens are used for governance as well as VIP rewards for top ranking PVP players. Some functionalities and benefits of MGA tokens are: game utility, price appreciation via Prometheus’ deflationary economy, in game utility, market value stabilization, and liquidity mining by staking MGA for a fixed income. MGA is the perfect union of a governance coin with a deflationary token bringing tangible value to holders and traders. In future, MGA will also serve as a platform token across multiple games on the MetaGame Arena roster meaning NFT resources will be able to be linked across games, thereby nurturing link value! With such visually captivating NFTs, this cross NFT game along with Prometheus’ cross-chain capacity is extremely exciting!
Prometheus’ NFTs:
Prometheus’ NFTs are primarily combat cards. A card’s value is determined by its attributes and the rarity associated with the attributes. Some combat character NFT characteristics are as follows:
HP — Combat health
ATK — Attack power
SPD — Speed of the character
DFC — Defence ability of the character
Move — This characteristic determines how far the character is able to move depending on the card. This attribute is static and depends on the race and class of the NFT.
Attack range — This is the range of attack that, once again, depends on race and class.
Skill — Players can pick a skill from a pool of talents to attribute to their NFTs.
Prometheus has ensured that each NFT has a certain amount of rarity. This is to not only give it increased value on the market, but so that players can enjoy the different abilities of a combat card during battle. Prometheus’ NFTs are beautiful, unique, have utility, and value longevity.
