OIG is proud to announce our newest partnership with Project SEED! Project Seed is a multichain gaming ecosystem that includes a Game Studio, Gamefi, DAO and an NFT Marketplace. Their goal is to revolutionize the gaming ecosystem by closing the gap between traditional gaming and blockchain gaming. Project SEED aims to accomplish this by building a high quality gaming ecosystem that integrates the blockchain technology instead of simply building the game on top of the blockchain. Project SEED will take the play-to-earn gaming industry to a whole new level with a realistic RPG environment including stunning landscapes, addictive gameplay and exhilarating combat. Best of all, Project SEED is developing games that will be inclusive and fun for both blockchain familiar gamers as well as those new to the sphere! Project SEED will be free to play yet empower gamers by being play-to-earn! Today we will be highlighting a few notable features of Project SEED as well as taking a look at their current gameplay, characters and zeds. Let’s get into it!
Project SEED Gameplay, Characters, and Zeds:
The Project SEED story line in sum is that humankind has been watching and surviving as their beloved land is slowly dying and going extinct. Players must use their “ancient instruments, natural-born prowess, and splendour beasts called the Zeds” to complete missions, engage in combat and search for the truth as they try to save their homeland from extinction. The journey will be mysterious, marvellous and unforgiving but true heroes will be relentless in their search. Project SEED players will participate in gameplay in the following ways:
Taming the Zeds — Players may embark on adventures to discover tamable Zeds. Players may then spawn their main Zed out of three Zeds that they chose to bring along on the adventure. In order to catch Zeds, players should not defeat them but win their friendship. If Zeds aren’t captured they may run away. If Zeds are defeated, they may drop loot items. These loot items may then be used to craft weapons and armor. The amount of dropped loot items will be determined by how many tokens players have staked.
Co-Op (Cooperative) Adventures — In addition to the single-player story mode, players may game together with 3 other players. There will be special quests where players must collaborate in order to fight and conquer the bigger and more powerful mythical Zeds.
Tournament Battles — Players are able to enter tournaments to challenge other players as well as to show off their Zeds and armor. Tournaments are divided into solo or team battles, and tournament winners will win SHILL tokens as rewards with the $SHILL being deposited directly into their wallets.
Guild Wars — Guilds can enter tournaments to battle with other guilds for rewards. It could be solo or team battles, where players have to be in the same guild to build a team. There will also be special co-op events to defeat Zeds that are unbeatable if playing solo.
Now that we have a thorough understanding of the actual Project SEED gameplay, let’s take a look at their Gamefi and NFT Marketplace.
Project SEED Gamefi:
Project SEED’s gamefi will consist of four main elements: Staking, Supply Distribution, DEX and NFT Minting.
Staking — In the Project SEED ecosystem, players will be able to generate passive income simply from holding the currency aka staking their $SHILL. Players who stake their $SHILL Token will be rewarded with various in-game benefits.
Random “Supplies” Distribution — Random supplies will be distributed to Project SEED gamers. These supplies may include but are not limited to, DAO Proposals, Dungeon Creator Capabilities, Increase in players’ level to keep active Zeds, APR for staking rewards.
DEX — The decentralized exchange (DEX) features an in-app money changer where players can buy and sell tokens with several token pairs. The DEX will also be the platform to stake in liquidity provider tokens, which will give out $SHILL tokens as rewards.
NFT Minting — In Project SEED, players may create their own NFTs which will be tradable as owned assets on the NFT marketplace. In addition, player created equipment, land, evolved Zeds, and new breeds of Zeds can be minted as NFTs and sold as in-game assets. Fixed supply of these NFT’s results in their increased rarity and value. Project SEED makes these assets even more valuable by implementing a mint and burn mechanism. This means when a Zed has been minted and then evolved into a more powerful Zed, the previous version, (tier) is burned creating scarcity for lower-tiered Zeds.
This brings us to Project SEED’s NFT marketplace!
Project SEED’s NFT Marketplace:
Project SEED will have a two winged NFT marketplace. The first wing will be a Buy and Sell Marketplace where peers will be able to buy, sell, and auction their minted NFTS such as: weapons, Zeds, equipment, lands, and buildings. The second wing will be a Rental Marketplace. In this marketplace, peers will be able to rent and borrow minted NFT’s (such as those mentioned above), for a specific duration and price. This dual wing marketplace means greater access for all financial levels of gamers because the capacity to purchase outright isn’t necessary to obtain required assets. This attention to inclusivity is an element we admire because it stays true to the initial focus of Project SEED being community connection and quality gaming for all.
Closing Thoughts and Project SEED’s IDO:
Project SEED is a beautifully thought out project with a ton of potential not just for it’s captivating storyline and game play, but for it’s NFT marketplace and gamefi. Project SEED’s multi IDO is quickly approaching with its official launch being November 9th at 12pm UTC.
