The Boundless NFT Game about Exploration, Battles and Companionship with Playermons!
OIG is excited to announce our partnership with Playermon. Playermon is a boundless Play to Earn Game where anyone can explore and battle in the universe with their favourite space companions called Playermons! Playermon was inspired by the admiration its developers had for the Pokemon Trading Card game and the Animal Crossing video games. The love of these old games, coupled with the developers’ interest and knowledge of blockchain technology, has resulted in the action packed, space themed adventure game Playermon! Today OIG will introduce Playermon and highlight a few of our favourite features including the many different gaming modes as well as the delightful Playermon characters themselves!
Playermon Gameplay
Playerman Gameplay is comprised of 4 main parts: SpaceDen, PvE & PvP Modes, Planet Gameplay, and Space Colonial Base & Intergalactic Travel.
SpaceDen — SpaceDen Gameplay is all about players nurturing and loving their Playermon. This stage of gameplay requires players to incubate their purchased Playermon eggs for a certain amount of time and then build up their strength by caring for them, (ie., brushing, bathing, and feeding the creatures). As players care for their Playermon, they gain “Love Points” and their Playermon gain experience and rewards until they reach adulthood. Upon reaching adulthood, Playermon may begin participating in different battle modes.
PvE & PvP Modes — In PvE gaming mode, players may explore the planet and battle in the wilderness. In this mode players will battle unknown powerful enemies as they gain experience and rewards. In Playermon’s PvP mode, players will battle other competitors in the Tower of Creator thereby earning experience and rewards. In these battles, players must form a team of three Playermon and place them strategically to gain an advantage over their opponents. Ability cards will be assigned randomly to each player at the start of each turn. In these battles, the winner is the player with no opponents left standing. Winners gain SpaceGEM (SGEM) and their Playermon gain experience.
Planet Gameplay — In Planet Gameplay, players must obtain their own planet first and then have it assessed by scholars and explored by other players. Through exploration players may discover secret underground dungeons as well as find valuable resources. These resources can be mined and once players have built interplanetary scanners, they may begin exploring cross planetary mining. There are two methods of obtaining an interplanetary scanner. The first method is through planetary exploration and mission completion. These explorations and missions will provide players with items required to craft an interplanetary scanner. The second method is to simply purchase an interplanetary scanner at the Radix, (Playermon Marketplace).
Space Colonial Base & Intergalactic Travel — In this gamemode, players focus on levelling up their Space Colonial Bases, aka their homes. As players level up, they gain more tax, have greater access to bonus features, and may begin cross-planet mining or building their interplanetary scanner. Space Colonial Bases can be customized with decorative or limited seasonal items designed by community artists. This customization is a fun way of showing off players’ unique styles and personalities.
Playermon has extensive gameplay options which should certainly make for great player entertainment and consistent engagement, but the Playermon themselves are definitely heart winners as well!
Playermon Game Characters
Playermon are creatures that players hatch from incubated eggs and through care, love, experience and battles, they gain power. These creatures may be fused with minerals, crystals, diamonds, sapphires and rubies. Once Playermon have been fused with these special space gems, they gain unique powers and will gain value and demand in the marketplace. Playermon serve all sorts of purposes such as being players’ companions, fighters and farmers, as well as give players an edge on gaining additional resources in the space world. Playermon may also be bred to create even more unique and valuable companions via genetic rarity! On the subject of rarity, it is worth taking a moment to highlighting Playermon’s Radix Marketplace!
Radix Marketplace
The Radix Marketplace is the busiest and most popular planet in the galaxy due to its marketplace and underground slum battlefield. Some of the activities that players may participate in at the Radix are: leasing their Playermon (scholarship), trading their Playermon, purchasing eggs, purchasing in-game items for crafting, purchasing seasonal limited in-game assets, as well as purchasing planets. To achieve the highest monthly trading volume, the Playermon Team has utilized the Polygon blockchain. This results in both fast transaction speeds and low gas fees.
