My name is Mike Gusso, and I am the Chief Marketing Officer here at Galactic Arena: The NFTverse. I have more than 11 years of marketing experience in different industries, with my recent stint being in blockchain-based games. I have been working with this core team for a few projects now, and we work very well together, complimenting each other’s skills/abilities!

Now, let me tell you a bit about our project
Galactic Arena is the first of its kind gaming platform where players can battle each other in real time, and earn crypto.
It also gives players the option to connect their gaming NFTs from external sources (other games) with the ecosystem and play.
This is the first time this capability has been introduced into GameFi, and this is the first project that was able to implement it.
Currently, the game has two game modes, the Carnival and the Cage.
The Carnival is a luck-based game where users can upgrade their characters to increase their chances of winning battles in the other game mode, and also win in-game rewards.
The Cage is a PVP battle mode where you can place wagers on player vs. player battles happening in real-time and earn crypto. You can win BNB, BUSD, or GAN!
As I mentioned, what differentiates us is the fact that we can connect gaming NFTs from other games, and allow users to bring those characters into our games.
So, we have divided the characters like this:
Native heroes:
Native Characters are characters that are native NFTs of Galactic Arena: The NFTverse.
Currently, the game has 6 main characters: Goken Sensei, Suki Sunoda, Master Khan, Cyntax, Cyrax and Formax.
Native characters can be purchased directly from the GAN In-Game Shop.
PERK: Native characters DO NOT have to hold a minimum amount of $GAN in order to participate in battles.
Visiting Heroes (connecting NFTs):
These are the NFT characters that will migrate into Galactic Arena.
After listening to the community, to start things off we will be adding characters from 2 games: Cryptozoon and Polkamonster!
The migration process is simple, and once completed the character is set to the DEFAULT Rank Bronze 1 LvL 1 . Users may choose to disconnect their character from the game at ANY TIME, and will still retain ownership of their NFTs in their wallets!

Can you please share with us which stage is the project currently at?

Yes, currently as we speak we have finished the Alpha test for the game with our in-house team and partners, and as we speak our Beta test campaign is running. We have 300 testers testing the game with us, and helping us fix any bugs/errors that are still lurking around!
We have completed our IDO with Poolz on the 31st of October and are about to have our IAO with Apeswap on the 4th of November at 1600 UTC

In terms of a P2E blockchain game, what makes you feel there is demand for the product?
Mike — Won’t DM first: Yes that's right, we list right after the IAO ends, which is 4:00 UTC on the 5th
That's a great question @SaigonXIII
The idea for this game helped out with that a lot. It all started when the CEO and myself bought gaming NFTs to be able to play a certain game online and earn crypto. After 3 weeks into playing that game, the token price dumped, and the game was gone. We were left holding onto our now obsolete NFTs, for which we had paid a decent amount of money. We thought, ‘Wouldn’t it be a cool idea if people who were in our situation could just take their NFT to a different game and earn crypto there?”. And that’s what got the ball rolling: we knew there was a demand for this.
But more recently, The play-to-earn space has seen exponential growth in the past 2 years, and gaming NFTs have been generating substantial revenues for their owners. As a result, this has greatly increased the creation of these NFT characters, as more users start to enter the GameFi space to earn a regular monthly income due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic had on their regular jobs.
Despite this high demand, many gaming NFTs are tied to their native gaming platforms. Galactic Arena: The NFTverse is designed to break this trend as it allows users to import gaming NFTs from other games into their ecosystem. Once imported, users can interact as natives and upgrade and battle when they want, while always maintaining ownership of their NFT (as mentioned previously).
GA’s unique algorithm (running in the CAGE mode) ensures that the wagers placed within the game are fair and equitable to entice users from different NFT gaming platforms into the ecosystem.
The team is currently working on adding characters from more than 25 different games so that players can continue to earn revenue from their NFTs, even if their native platforms have gone obsolete / have lost their earning potential.

To ensure transparency and assurance for users, the COMPLETE PROJECT is currently being audited by SOLID GROUP (note that most games DO NOT get the whole project audited, we are doing it to provide assurance to our users that our project is EXACTLY WHAT WE SAY IT IS).

PLEASE NOTE: Due to security reasons, our token contract has NOT been released yet, and will be released close to the IAO / Launch. The official contract will be released on our social media networks, so please stay tuned!

The native token of the ecosystem is the $GAN token. $GAN token is a BEP-20 token with a total supply of 1 billion. It will be used for making any purchases, upgrades, or entering any PvP battles(tax). You can also stake the token to earn a bonus.
Also, The tokens that are collected as fees will be used for:
(Events) in THE CAGE (in $BNB);
For development purposes such as Marketing and CEX listings;
Used for buybacks and burn events

Currently, we have launched our BETA TEST version on the MAINNET, not the testnet. The token required to play the test version is the test token.
We chose BSC because of the speed and low gas fees. In the future, we do have plans to bridge between these blockchains to allow users to connect their gaming nfts from different blockchains!

Like all play to earn games, to be able to play you will have to make a purchase in the game. You can purchase our native characters, or you can purchase a SYPHON BOX from the in-game shop.
As a native user, you don’t need to purchase an NFT, because you can connect your Polkamonster or Cryptozoon character. But you will be required to hold a minimum amount of $GAN in your wallet to be able to play the game. Please read our white paper for more information!

Mike — Won’t DM first: $GAN is a BEP-20 token currently running on the Binance Smart Chain. $GAN token is the native currency to the Galactic Arena ecosystem. Total supply is 1,000,000,000 GAN tokens.
$GAN’s Utilities:
Can be spent to buy characters, upgrades, and in-game items. Also used to pay to enter PvP battles in THE CAGE.Staking $GAN for earning bonus $GAN.Players can also earn $GAN by participating in THE CARNIVAL.
Earning $GAN
SPIN THE WHEEL (in THE CARNIVAL) or participate in WAGER events (in THE CAGE).Staking $GAN.
