So, I am Pedro, I have been working with YAY Games and Bold Point since the inception of both Projects. I have worked with several Crypto projects, mainly with marketing/bysdev and I am sure we will achieve great things here!

Can you summarise for us what Bold Point is about?

Bold Point is a blockchain-based NFT Role Playing Game. Based on the everlasting struggle for power and wealth, Bold Point leads players into the glorious pits of battle in which their skills, experience, and wits will be tested in fierce competition. The winner takes all, and gamers’ goal is to stay alive for the next challenge.
Bold Point is the first fully in-house game from our team here at YAY Games, our developers have been working on it for almost a year now, so we are thrilled for the next couple of months! We will be exclusively on AVAX and our goal is to step up the game in the avalanche ecosystem.

What is the background of the core team?
P. Verdades: The Avax ecosystem is growing like crazy, I advise everyone who does not know much about it, to really dive deep! There are a lot of opportunities. ⚡️
As for our team,
Nick, our CEO, was actually the CEO of CreaGames, one of the major game publishers in Russia. He has also been connected to crypto for some years, so the decision to bridge into crypto was quite easy.
Denis, our lead developer who is in charge of the game production also has extensive experience in the gaming market. As for advisors, we got a big network of connections in Russia which helped us make this a reality. Important to note, that YAY Games and Bold Point are connected, so all the expertise from YAY are within Bold Point.
And obviously, we are all game fanatics! and we believe that this industry is just starting! 🎉

What is your mission, vision, and values as a project?

What problems do you see in the gaming industry that Bold point will fix?
P. Verdades: Games will help the adoption of crypto to the masses, we have no doubt about it!
The Majority of gamers actually need to spend money on their favourite hobby and never earn a single dollar. So we are committed to creating a fully free-to-play game!
Also, more than a regular 2D game, we want to bring a fully immersive experience for blockchain gaming! With Triple-A graphics and gameplay!

Can you tell us a little about your sidechain technology and any new features?
P. Verdades: Nice question, see you have been keeping an eye on our latest posts eheh
Our side-chain technology (should we call it YAY Chain? 🤫) was made to optimize gas costs and speed up game transactions. And it’s fully new in the market
Our item generator feature is also a great innovation and we have never seen something similar. To make it short, it is a blockchain software that generates items based on a variable random function according to our game design documents.
Apart from this, we have multiple in-game mechanics that were made to ensure players have multiple sources of income within the game!

We have seen some interesting things about NFT’s in your game, can you tell us a little about them and their role in your game?
P. Verdades: Indeed, we are focusing now on educating the community about our upcoming NFTs and their perks!
So basically every item or character in Bold Point will be an NFT! From swords to amulets, armour or cloaks! Everything will be able to be traded, sold or bought!
By battling other users you will also get NFTs, and some of them will be available for crafting.
As I said above our ITEM Generator will take a huge play in here! Since it will provide us the chance to create hundreds/thousands of unique NFTs, bringing the sentiment of exclusivity into play!

What utility will the $BPT token have? When and where can we get our hands on it?
P. Verdades: Now you are getting to the point ahah I’ll try to answer them in separate!
What utility will the $BPT token have? There are multiple use cases for $BPT within the game. We will have a Gold PVP system where users will fight each other for rewards from a Prize Pool.
The Bold Point Arena, where champions, individually or in clans, will be challenged by opposition teams until there is only one player standing.
Dao Mechanics, where the community will be able to vote on how to use different characters, tactics, and other objects in a transparent and decentralized manner.
We have much more, but we want to keep some secrets eheh. I can reveal that game farming, development mechanics, multiple tournaments, quests, crafting, PVE will be a part of the game too.
And obviously, a lot of DEFI mechanics will be added, from an NFT Marketplace where users will be able to buy, sell, loan, or exchange items and Farming Raids.

P. Verdades: In the Ancient Lands of Bold Point users will be able to choose between multiple factions and characters and join the battle for success! But they must be careful since dangers lurk everywhere!
As for starting in our MVP version that will be released this month, users will only be able to use one character. But I advise you to keep up with our MEDIUM, since we will be deploying all characters and unique NFTS/Items in the next couple of weeks! This will give you an amazing advantage when the game actually comes!
There will be plenty of valuable and unique items in the bold Point Lands! From swords to amulets, rings, cloats, even characters they will all be NFTs. Thus you will be able to trade them as well as sell/buy !
You will be able to get the majority of the NFTs through fighting, crafting, trading, and in general loot!
